ALL-IN-1 V3.0 When I use the XP (multiple print) from an index, all print jobs have the same name. ie all documents printed show the name corresponding to the subject of the first memo. This doesn't have an impact on the actual print of the mail but it renders the menu Job Services pretty useless, and, of course, the flag pages all have the same name (I know, shoot anyone who still uses flag pages :-)) This is not a customisation problem, I don't think that this was a problem with 2.4 but am unable to check. Is this known, and if yes, is there a fix ? Thanks, Hilary

1197.1 | Doesn't happen on my V3.0 system | IOSG::NEWLAND | Richard Newland, IOSG, REO1-D/4A | Thu Aug 06 1992 19:12 | 10 |
The problem doesn't happen on the IOSG cluster, which is running the SSB V3.0 system. If the Job Name is not specified in the Print Style it will be derived from the OA$CURDOC_TITLE for each selected message. I know you have said that it is not a customization problem but have you tried with ALLIN1/NOCUSTOM. Richard | |||||
1197.2 | Got it ! Job name in GOLD E | SHIRE::OLTEN::BOWERS | Life's a beach | Fri Aug 07 1992 11:06 | 12 |
Got it ! Thank you ! Yes, I had tried with/NOCUSTOM, but, in order to save paper I had used GOLD E to change "number up" and, as you said, it had the title of the first mail in the JOB NAME field, blanking it out did the trick. I'm sure the user did the same thing. Ah, still a lot to learn with V3.0 Have a good day Hilary |
