1174.0. "TDE problem with half line spacing and WPS V4.1" by TOSSUC::TOTA () Tue Aug 04 1992 12:06

	A customer is experiencing some problems using ALLIN1 V3.0
	, WPS V4.1, VMS V5.5

	   TDE: the ruler settings "F" ( HALF LINE ) is not carried
		   	over into the two dimensional editor

	   The customer tested this behaviour with some printer tables,
	   including PS and LN03-R.

	A Tde diagram following a half line ruler however prints
	in a single line spacing under WPS V4.1 whereas it is
	printed in half line spacing under version 3

1174.1Any fix yet? (Moved from 2248 by Moderator)OSLACT::63955::Bjarnec_pThe last boat left without meThu Feb 11 1993 13:2215
Hi,

With reference to earlier replies to this note and 726 in the WPS-PLUS V4
conference - has a fix to the TDE "half line" spacing problem in TDE been
produced, and, if so, has it been included in a released patch?

	ALL-IN-1 V3.0 (unpatched)
	WPS-PLUS V4.1
	VMS V5.5

Thanks,

	Bjarne

P.S. I have cross posted this note in the WPS-PLUS conference.

1174.2Would A1_FIX002030 fix it?OSLACT::63955::Bjarnec_pThe last boat left without meFri Feb 12 1993 08:2016
Hi,

Having checked the release notes for A1_ECO001030 (= patch 3.0-1 ?) I find
no reference to a fix of aforementioned problem. However, checking the
release notes for another fix, A1_FIX002030 - dated November 1992, I find a
reference to what looks like a fix to this spacing problem in TDE.

What is A1_FIX002030? Does it actually fix the problem and, if so, would
it be OK for my customer to try to install it? What about the A1_ECO001030
patch - should he install that too?

Cheers,

	Bjarne
1174.3What a FIX is, i know i've said this beforeAIMTEC::WICKS_AWALES 10 England 9Fri Feb 12 1993 13:0118
    Bjarne,

    The A1_FIXxxx series of patches are called Individual Customer Fixes
    are supplied to the customer directly by Engineering to a customer (s)
    in response to a CLD. At some future date the fix will appear in a
    generally available patch such as A1_ECOxxx. I am sure if there
    were to be a note in ABBOTT::A1INFO that listed the proposed contents
    of a future PFP you just might see this fix in it.

    As you say this particular problem is not in ALL-IN-1 v3.0-1

    if anyone needs this or any other A1_FIXxxx then they have to obtain
    it directly from Engineering as your friendly local CSC doesn't have
    copies.

1174.4Fixed in ICF #2 and MUPAIOSG::ELLIOTTRRussell ElliottThu Dec 02 1993 15:3911
    Hi,

    The problem is indeed fixed in ICF #2 (kit A1_FIX002030.A) as mentioned
    in note .8. It is also fixed in MUPA, when that is shipped.

    This information (and a lot more) is readily available in a patch chart
    that we maintain. Please see note 19. A text search of this file can
    often prove useful.

    Regards,
    Russell Elliott.
