I have had this problem before and never resolved it...the user moved. But it has happened again. A user prints a document he created, and on every sheet of the printout the DEV$NAME:[USERNAME]FILE.SPEC prints. This doesn't happen on mail he receives [in ALL-IN-1], only what he creates...but not all the time. He is using the WPSPLUS editor...if that makes a difference. ALL-IN-1 V2.4 VMS V5.4-2 thanks, jeremy

1112.1 | Headers? | IOSG::NEWLAND | Richard Newland, IOSG, REO1-D/4A | Thu Jul 23 1992 22:20 | 11 |
This may be caused by the print jobs having the Headers attribute, which causes the VMS Print Symbiont to put a header containing the file specification and a page number at the top of each page. Check the user's default print settings to see if the Headers field is set to Y, and also ask the user if they ever set the Headers field on the Control Settings form. Richard |
