    Hi,
    
    	Please excuse the lack of information in this
    	note but I can't reach the customer for permission
    	to login or to get further details.
    
    	The user is running ALL-IN-1 V2.3, yes I know
    	its old but we said we'd support him. There also 
    	running 5.4-something of VMS.
    
    	The user is running TRM which after running 
    	for 4 hours reaches phase 3. In the log file
    
    AFTER THE LINE
    
    This Phase will try to correct the usage counts of shared documents
    
    THE FOLLOWING ERROR IS RECIEVED
    
    Error opening DISK$29[OA$SHARB]OA$DAF_B.DAT, error = ?Cannot Open File
    Terminating Program
    
    	
    	If anyone has any ideas or if more information is needed I 
    	will have access to the system tommorrow.

	Hi, I would: Check that the customer has all the V2.3 patches. Check that DISK$29[OA$SHARB]OA$DAF_B.DAT exists. If not check that the definition is correct using option SM MMA (manage mail areas). My guess is that a user has a reference to a document in a non-existent mail area. I don't think the early versions of TRM coped with that. The work-round may be to create area OA$SHARB. I am unsure however of what the fully patched version of 2.3 is to compare to the below information. Does anyone know ? I have included pieces from the logfile as its so huge. Does anyone have any more suggestions or what further information is needed to help solve this. 	Hi, You definitely need patching. There is a series of K5nn patches for V2.3, where from memory you need K501 - K513 (omitting K504) and then for TRM (the FCVR) you need K537. (Anyone please correct me if this wrong). In Phase 2 did it process OA$DAF_B.DAT? Your log extract just shows OA$DAF_A.DAT. Could it be that the customer scheduled TRM with a subset of the shared areas? There were some problems in that area as well. Cheers Stuart
