I have a customer who has ALL-IN-1 STARTER 2.3. I would like to know if he could migrate directly to ALL-IN-1 3.0 or if he first have to do an upgrade to ALL-IN-1 2.4? Thanks for your answer. Valrie

He can go directly to V3.0. There might be some manual tasks to be done first. Check the V2.4 starter guide to see what it said in there. Graham | |||||

Valerie, Things to watch out for if you're going to do it in one step are: 1) Software prerequisities - running Pre-check will help you since you might need to upgrade any/all of VMS, MR, FMS, CDA etc ... 2) licenses for ALL-IN-1 and it's prerequisites may be needed. 3) some other things that might be needed before starting o run SYS$MANAGER:AS010_PRE_V23UPGRADE.COM o add OA$LIB:CM to the FRMLIB line of the MANAGER account It's a supported upgrade path but we haven't heard of anyone who's tried it yet so let us know how you get on. regards, Andrew.D.Wicks |
