With ALL-IN-1 becomming more and more accessible from remote systems,
especially via TCP/IP, has any serious consideration been given to allow
remote systems to access an ALL-IN-1 system-wide distribution list?
In other words:
Ultrix node sends to test:@node.enet.dec.com
or
ALL-IN-1 nodeA sends to test:@a1@nodeB
I know on some mailers in the SMTP world, the first example is
syntactically incorrect due to the colon.
ASCOT package "PDL" apparently allows remote dl access but only from other
ALL-IN-1 systems in the network.
FWIW - our customer site is requesting this type of functionality more and
more often.
