I am working with a customer to convert their ALL-IN-1 V2.4 User Documents from
WPS-PLUS to WordPerfect V5.1 format for DOS.

My plan:

1.  Customer will provide me a tape with the complete ALL-IN-1 directories for
the users being moved.

2.  Use my ALL-IN-1 V3.0 System at the office to read the docdb.dat and
WPS-PLUS documents for each user.  Pick up document folder/doc title names
to use to provide more descriptive filenames for the WordPerfect filenames to
be transferred to dos.  Convert all documents from WPS-PLUS to DX under ALL-IN-1.

3.  Use Keypak under VMS to convert the files from DX to WordPerfect.

4.  Develop DCL/Script procedures to write DOS batch file to copy in files
for each user, and Wordperfect Macro files to take the ALL-IN-1 folder/title
and put this in the name/type descriptions which are provided in the long
description for each WordPerfect document.

5.  COPY DOS batch files, WordPerfect Macro files, WordPErfect files down
to 3 1/2 in floppies on my DECPC running MSDOS at the office.  I will be
useing Pathworks for transfers.   There are only 6 users being transferred
so I have figured I will need about 20 floppies.

6.  Check out converted files with WordPerfect V5.1 DOS running on my PC.

QUESTIONS::::::::::::::::


1)  Does this sound like a reasonable approach?  Any problems or concerns I
should have?

2)  I have ALL-IN-1 V3.0 on my inhouse system.  The customer has V2.4.  Will
I have to do anything to the user's docdb.dat so I can read it on my V3.0
System?  ANy problems with the .WPL files?  

3)  Products planned for this conversion project are below.  ANy concerns
here?  Suggestions?
