Customer has the following situation: ALL-IN-1 V2.2 LA75 printer A person receives a document that is 61 lines per page which messes up the alignment because it is not printing at 66 lines per page. Is there some AUTOMATIC way convert the document to 66 lines/page Thanks Jim Z

How is the LA75 attached? It sounds like the terminal port needs to be set to /FEED. With the terminal set to /NOFEED, VMS tries to convert the formfeed into line feeds, which causes the problem. With the terminal set to /FEED, then the document will print properly because the formfeed will get through to the printer. Ben | |||||

I pass your note on to customer and found that that didn't work either. I assume you ment /FORM. Customer can do a GOLD A and change length to 66 and all is fine. Is the print form length stored some where?? Thanks Jim Z |
