919.1Log file removed from base note...IOSG::PYEGraham - ALL-IN-1 Sorcerer's ApprenticeWed Jun 24 1992 09:4715
    I've removed the trace log file from the base note and posted it in a
    separate file:

    	NOTES$LIBRARY:ALL-IN-1_919.LOG

    This file will be deleted in a little while.

    Please don't post big logfiles straight in the conference, instead,
    post pointers. Apart from the fact that big files are stored very
    efficiently, it uses up a lot of scarce space in the NOTES$LIBRARY
    area, and is very bad news for DECwindows notes users!

    Thanks,

    Graham

    Graham,

    You seem to have removed the text as well. Did you mean to do that?

    Regards
919.3Confused, but working....IOSG::PYEGraham - ALL-IN-1 Sorcerer's ApprenticeWed Jun 24 1992 19:5816
    Re .-1

    Apologies to .0, no I didn't mean to remove the base note. In fact it
    was definitely there at some point.

    Fortunately I still have the original text, because my batch extractor
    temporary files aren't gone yet. However I can't hack .0 anymore, since
    PAN says it doesn't haven't any text in it, and hence isn't changeable.
    I don't know why this is, so I'm posting the original text as the next
    reply and changing the title of .0

    Mystified,

    Graham

    PS This is what I get for trying to keep things tidy!
919.4Original text of .0...IOSG::PYEGraham - ALL-IN-1 Sorcerer's ApprenticeWed Jun 24 1992 20:0014
    Hello,

    The old (V2.4) problem of not getting the "restart date" & "restart
    time" updated in shutdown as a recurring housekeeping procedure has
    resurfaced (fix was promised in DIAMOND :^(

<<< Trace log is attached if anyone is kind enough to provide permanent
<<< solution (SPR on its way).

    *** TRACE LOG EXTRACTED TO IOSG::NOTES$LIBRARY:ALL-IN-1_919.LOG ***

    Regards,

    Dan
