Can somebody answer the following simple question, which I could not find in any document. I created some shared folders and I want the users to read, delete, edit and print the content of the shared folders. But I could not manage to make them edit and delete the documents, whereas they can read and print them. I tried almost every kind of protection methods on the users account whose folders to be shared. Is it possible for users to edit or delete documents in the shared folders in ALL-IN-1 V2.43 technically. Best regards, Tansu YEGEN @TWI

Tansu Sorry, but that is the way shared folders work. You can only create, edit or delete documents if you own the shared folder. Other users can just read or print them. This capability was extended by the SFCP asset but more recently the base ALL-IN-1 product was enhanced considerably in V3.0 to provide a shared drawer mechanism which allows you to grant varying levels of access rights to users, groups etc. Regards Dick |
