846.0. "eve_edt and coexistent systems" by OASS::VALDEZ_C (A smile is the same in any language) Wed Jun 10 1992 16:12

Hi,

Does anyone have ALL-IN-1 V3.0 installed as a coexistent system? If so, could
you please do me a favor and try specifying EVE_EDT as your editor? I have a
customer with this configuration, and when he specifies EVE_EDT he gets "error
detected from editor" and GOLD/W reveals

%OA-W-EDTFAILURE, Error detected from editor

-LIB-E-ACTIMAGE, error activating image !AS

The customer states he can use EVE_EDT outside of ALL-IN-1.

I've tried on a "regular" V3 system and EVE_EDT works fine. I don't have a
coexistent system set up so any confirmation, hints and/or suggestions are
very welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, it doesn't work. This problem is in the release notes.

Mike, (she said, red-faced),

Thank you. But, I still don't see a reference to that in my on-line copy fo
the release notes. This customer is very "picky". Could you please point me
to a page number?

Thanks a lot!!

Well it beats me, It mustn't be in the release notes (I can't find it).

    *Excuse time*

Maybe it got lost between the different release notes
Maybe I meant to get it put in but didn't
    Maybe I'm stupid.

Anyway, there is not much to say really about it. It just doesn't work,
    no work around sadly.
