Hi, A customer is trying to install patch K601 on an unpatched ALL-IN-1 V2.4 system and received the next message: %A1024SUS-E-NOLIBNOCRE, Library does not exist and there was no requested to create it. After 15 minutes jumping up and down in A1PATCH.COM (which is part of A1024SUS020.A) I canceled the spaghetti diner tonight and try my luck here. Does someone know what library the install procedure is looking for? Bon appetit, Sjaak.

Pure guesswork, but how about OALIBR.OLB or one of the other big libraries. Has the customer deleted them to save space? Regards, Paul

Paul's theory may well be right. My customer had indeed deleted some obj and olb files to save space. These were detected with the aid of a $set verify. Clive
833.3 | Found A1PATCH$CALLBACK mechanism | UTRTSC::BOSMAN | We're just sugar mice in the rain | Tue Jun 09 1992 14:59 | 12 |
Hi, Thanx for the hint Paul and Clive. Just found out about A1PATCH$CALLBACK and therefore concluded that it must be DMPLUS.OLB, OALIBR.OLB or MTILIB.OLB, all three in OA$BUILD_SHARE. Guess I better spent my time on investigating the customer rather then the kit's install procedure :-) Sjaak. |
