Hi, We have encountered a problem that some users will get crash dmp when they use the index option. We have found that the inbox seems to have problem. When we II, it will crash dump. When we use the FC options to get to INBOX, we have found that there is no DAF information and only pointer to a same file. Even we deleted it several times and get in again it still point to the same file. It seems to me the SDAF.DAT is corrupted. But when we analyse the file, it is O.K.. Does anybody know how to solved this problem and why? Thanks in advance. Anthony Wong

Is there a problem with the mail pending file (OA$DATA:PENDING.DAT) perhaps? Tony

Try running TRM to clear up the mess... Scott

ALL-IN-1 V2.3 prior to patch K513 and V2.4 prior to patch K603 could ACCVIO on II or RN if an entry in the user's PENDING.DAT queue had no SDAF pointer. Running TRM (you will need patch K536 or K537 if you have V2.3) should fix the problem, as Scott suggested in .-1 Terry |
