802.0. "Moving account - TRANSFER*-directories" by UTRTSC::BOSMAN (We're just sugar mice in the rain) Thu Jun 04 1992 13:38

    Hi,

    A small question about moving accounts. After an account has been
    moved, the transfer directories contain still the top-level directories
    for the transferred accounts.

    Maybe this is known, but I can't find any pointers.

    Regards, Sjaak (Press NEXT TOPIC to continu or RETURN to display list).

    Directory-list of [ALLIN1.TRA*...] after the account TVS1 has been
    moved. Nice detail: I was able to move the account from system X to
    system X. Usefull for my test, but I cannot discover any other
    functionality.

Directory USER1:[ALLIN1.TRANSFER_INCOMING]

NETSERVER.LOG;1     TVS1.DIR;1

Total of 2 files.

Directory USER1:[ALLIN1.TRANSFER_OUTGOING]

NETSERVER.LOG;3     TVS1.DIR;1

Total of 2 files.

Grand total of 2 directories, 4 files.

802.1Bug pleaseIOSG::TALLETTArranging bits for a living...Thu Jun 04 1992 17:198

    	I don't see this as an exactly major problem (unless I am missing
    	something) so you should submit a bug report to get it fixed, if
    	it still exists in V3.0 (we changed quite a bit in this area for
    	V3.0 so it may have gone away).

    Regards,
    Paul

    Hi Paul,

    Ofcourse it's not a major problem. A customer complained about this
    one! And unless there is a need for those directories to keep existing,
    I don't see either why these things aren't deleted.

    Keep on spotting, Sjaak.
