676.0. "DECnam and Message Tracking Futures" by IOSG::WDAVIES (Winton Davies,IOSG) Tue May 12 1992 19:28
Ok,
This one's a RFC.
DECnam is Digital's Network Applications Monitor.
It allows amongst other things to track messages through message
router. It uses Servers on each node to filter information back to
a client (vt , Motif etc).
Would the readers of this conference help me and state WHETHER
A) they have used it at all, and whether or not it would fulfil the
requirement of customers to track messages
B) Whether they feel customers would install this application alongside
their message routers to enable us to utilise it in the Mail Management
subsystem, purely to track messages.
Winton
