| Andre,
Try using the SMD (Search Mail Directory) function instead of SOM.
We use this option and it provides relatively fast searches.

658.2 | it's not a long search | VAXSPO::ANDRE | | Tue May 12 1992 20:08 | 11 |

Steve,
I tried to use the SMD function , but the problem is still
happening . I have to execute other search to complete the first .
It's really strange . But as soon as I do another search in other
terminal , my first terminal receive the data on the screen .
It's not a matter of time (long search) , it's something wrong.

658.3 | Try asking in FORTY2::MAILBUS | IOSG::SHOVE | Dave Shove -- REO-D/3C | Wed May 13 1992 12:35 | 6 |
| This must be some kind of locking problem between the DDS "clients".
As this is mostly DDS code, not ours, you might possibly get some help
in the FORTY2::MAILBUS conference.
Dave.

Thanks , Dave . I'll try the MAILBUS conference .
It's strange because when I do the searches using MBMAN , all
works fine . But perhaps someone can give me some hints .
