Just to satisfy my curiosity...
I know that the functionality of OA$TRA_SET has been replaced in V3.0
by the SET_TRACE function. I've also noticed that OA$TRA_SET is no
longer documented in the APR. Does this imply that OA$TRA_SET will
slowly disappear from the product, or does it just mean that it will
slowly fade from our memories??? :-)

Well of course we don't do futures here but I think you'll be safe in
assuming that OA$TRA_SET will stay in the product for quite a while
- after all the ALL-IN-1 v1 to v2 conversion, VoiceMail etc etc
functions are still there aren't they?
Will be retained for backwards compatibility is probably the official
phrase.

I think it's safe to say that we probably won't give a lot of time to
fixing any bugs in things which are no longer documented.
We aren't allowed, and wouldn't want to anyway, remove any
functionality without announcing its imminent departure in the SPD,
with at least one version's warning. Was there anything about TRACE in
the SPD?
Of course we do sometimes remove small things without telling anyone:
$ CMS RESERVE OACNV.BLI "Removing V1 conversion code."
$ EDIT.....
