610.0. "Upgrading a system with Shared Folders to 3.0" by GIDDAY::SETHI (Man from Downunder) Thu Apr 30 1992 10:06

    G'day,

A customer site makes use of the Shared Folders extensively when they
upgrade to Version 3.0 of ALL-IN-1 Shared Folders would not supported.
To make use of the Shared Folders they have to now change to sharing
drawers using the SFC which is part of ALL-IN-1 3.0.

Do we have a script, DCL procedure etc. that will make the changes that
are needed to successfully transfer the Shared Folders to comply with
    Version 3.0 ?

Any advise would be welcomed thanks

Standard ALL-IN-1 shared folders continue to work in V3.0. But if your
customer has SFCP then the SFCP migration script needs to run (see
manual). Other than that, nothing special needs to be done.

If your customer *wants* to move the shared folders to a shared drawer
then RFF (by the owning user) will work to another drawer, remembering
to give the destination folder a name without the [username] part.

    Cheers

    Stuart
