I think the answer should be simple but I don not know it. We have
postscript LN03's in the co and from VMS we can print the postscript
files to it by issuing a command like PRINT/QUEUE=name_p docname.ps . So
when the users receive a ps document in ALL-IN-1 then they make a file
attachment and transfer it to VMS and print the file from VMS.
But I think they must be able to print it after the file attachment
step simply invoking print option from within ALL-IN-1.
I tried to add a new printer queu called name_p using MPR PR option and
tried several things like making changes using MPR PT option. But my
each attempt failed giving the prompt "Printer destination XX can not
print a PostScript document".
Thank you very much for your valuable informations,

I think your problem may be that the site printer record you have created does not have the Format Printer Type set to PS. I suspect you will have set it to LN03-R? Chris. | |||||

Thank you very very much,
By means of this solution I will nerver have to teach people how to
transfer a document to VMS and print it, which reduces at least 5
Hotline logs/month.
