Hi

Customer is attempting to instal the WPS-PLUS v4 integration onto ALL-IN-1 
V2.4. He did his pre-installation tasks, including setting CLISYMTBL to 500.

He has successfully installed the mandatory patch, but his upgrade 
fails on OAW024.A installation, with an error stating that "The system 
parameter CLISYMTBL is too low on your system..., you should raise it to 500 
before continuing... installation failed..."

What is going on?

	Chele, Did the customer remember to log out of the process that modified CLISYMTBL. The Symbol Table is allocated during process creation and therefore you need to create a new process to pick up any changes ... Cheers, Iain

	Hello, What SPLENDID people you are! He hadn't logged out after the changes so it WAS the same process. The customer has since done a reboot, and since he didn't put anything in modparams etc, the value has now reverted to 250 He will correct this before he continues on.... Is it possible for the customer to continue the install from OAW024, or will he need to de-install first? He hasn't yet re-linked the image (reasonably enough) so everyything is still functional. My guess is that he should be OK to continue without de-installing, but I'd like a second (third, fourth etc) opinion. Thanks again! Regards, Chele

	Chele, Will my opinion do? Assuming they have K603 aka A1024SUS020 aka .. installed correctly then I say go ahead and install the WPS-PLUS v4 option aka TPFH - it'll tell you if it thinks K603 isn't there. regards, Andrew.D.wicks
