539.0. "SFCP with <NEWDIR effect" by GIDDAY::BURT (Chele Burt - CSC Sydney, DTN 7355693) Wed Apr 22 1992 04:16

Hello again,

Customer is running ALL-IN-1 V2.4 with SFCP 1.2

One user (non-privileged) has reported an intermittent problem when she runs
list processing using documents that are in a shared folder.
When completed, the user's default had been moved, as if she had done a
<NEWDIR>. (problem cannot be duplicated)

The only thing I can think of is if she has been moving about a lot some
default info may have been garbled?

Any thoughts,

Regards & thanks,

Chele B

    This question would be better asked and researched in the SFCP
    conference which is at OAWEGO::A1SFCP. This is pointed to in topic 4
    and I will add the magic pointer to it on this reply as well.

    I do recall that list processing did not used to be supported in SFCP
    and seem to recall that it was added in 1.1 or 1.2 but my mind is often
    wrong, of course. Check in the A1SFCP conference for details.

    Good luck,
