476.0. "Deleting Events off of TM w/o sending a message." by CSLALL::SWARTZ (CHARLES SWARTZ, 275-3519, DAS 1-1/B13) Mon Apr 13 1992 20:05

    Is there any way to delete Events, which I created and used to invite
    others, which now have been held, without another message going to the
    invitees?

    Charles,

    	No, there is now ay to avoid the cancellation notices which TM
    sends out if you delete an event with attendees. This is the way TM was
    designed to work; the very act of inviting attendees to an event (thus
    making it a meeting) will ensure that all subsequent TM operations
    result in mail messages being sent to the attendees of that meeting.

        However, if you wait until after the start time of the event,
        deleting the event will just remove it from your calendar and
        not send any mail.
