| Suzanne,
So how's life in Basingtoke - ready for DIAMOND?
The field SUBID maps to SUBSCRIBER.UNIQID which is 20 characters long
of course I know nothing about this stuff i'm just quoting from
Sir David Hare's document on DDS and ALL-IN-1

| But the field is 50 characters long in MBMAN and even if you don't use
it the data in MBMAN gets truncated to 20 chars

441.3 | My excuse - I followed the book | AIMTEC::WICKS_A | Vote Bill'n'Opus for a weirder USA | Thu Apr 09 1992 18:06 | 15 |
| Suzanne,
But the field in DDS as defined in the "Implementors Guide to DDS"
page 53 defined DDS$K_A_UNIQID as 20 characters so all the Useragents
that used the callable interface specified it that way (check out the
X.400 Mail Products). I don't feel even the slightest bit responsible
for MBMAN.... (:==:)
... and ELF defines the field as 6 characters!
So I guess it's SPR time?
