    Hi,

a customer of mine who speaks/reads very well german but
who finds english more difficult asked me if:

A Technical Odyssey by Tony Redmond

    will be translated into german.

    Any information available about this?

    thanks,

    Clarie

    Hoi Clarie,

Probably the best person to contact is George Horesta (@ORO or
SYSTMX::HORESTA), Senior (Acquisition) Editor at Digital Press.

Tony probably wouldn't do a translation, although he amazes me quite
    often ;-)

    Ciao,

Usually only those documents are translated which describe functions on
a user level. System Manager and Customization Management for example have
never been translated to German (or to other European languages).
Since this is a "technical" guide, I don't think it will be translated.

The only way that ATO will be translated into German is if someone (in
Germany) decides to pay Digital Press to allow them to print the book
in German.... The same rule applies for any other language.

Sorry that I can't help, Tony
