Does anybody know of a document or explanation on the changes in the A1LNKDRV? One of my students is very eager to know about all this. Thanks, Arjen

You could try VMS $differences! I didn't do CART changes data for this, since it's not customisable in V2.4. Most of the chnages were for development use really. E.g. symbols to set to stop various images being linked, symbol to make the link look in your own private directory first for objects, symbol to stop the SITE object libraries being used. If it's not in the Management Guide, then it may not be documented. Or was there something else? Graham | |||||

Graham is as always right ... the important changes to A1LNKDRV were the addition of the *UNDOCUMENTED* PERSONAL and NOCUSTOM Options and the even more *undocumented* addition of symbols to avoid linking individual images such as the TM server when all you wanted to link was OA$MAIN - It is to be hoped that these do make it into the documentation at some future date (Info Update?) The one change that will however catch everyone out and has already thrown many ISVs and customers during Field Test is the subtle change in location of the A1LNKDRV and A1LINK files which are now to be found in OA$BUILD_LLV and not OA$BUILD_SHARE as we have come to know and love over the last 4 years since it moved from OA$BUILD.
