291.0. "World Time Zones" by UTRTSC::BOSMAN (We're just sugar mice in the rain) Fri Mar 20 1992 14:03

    Hello you time travelers,

    I'm looking for a document containing the names of the world time zones
    but cannot find it anywhere. Does anybody know if there is such a
    document? It is ment for information purposes in an ALL-IN-1
    application.

    If not, maybe one person from each time zone would post the name plus
    abbreviation of his/hers time zone, city and difference with GMT (=
    UTC) in this topic.

    It would be mostly appreciated. Thanks in advance,

    Sjaak, (Central European Time, CET, Utrecht, GMT +01:00).

    There may be someone here who knows the answer to your question but you
    might also try NOTED::WORLDWIDE.

291.3US telephone books have a startAKOCOA::RMOOREPray for Chinese peopleWed Apr 01 1992 00:127
    US telephone books have cities of the world with time offset from EST.
    This may be of some use - if not in US then maybe there is a way of
    getting a US phone book - you really needn't worry about which area it
    is for as they all have that section for international calling.
