If the oa$mti_trns logical is set to 1 and the mail message is DDIF format, what is the expected behavior if this message is sent via the message router; will it be sent as is or will ALL-IN-1 try converting it to ASCII. We have a customer who would like to have it so that WPSPLUS messages DO get translated to ASCII but DDIF messages are left as is. Thanks, Cb.

Chaim, I would expect it to convert ALL non-ASCII mail to ASCII - that means WPCORP, WPS-PLUS, DDIF and even DECTEXT!! What do you tests show it doing? What do the panel think? regards, Andrew.D.Wicks | |||||

(Is this question still open? Well, I'd like to know the answer anyway!) Have you really got a DDIF MAIL message? Not an attachment? As you know, attachments not of type MAIL won't be touched. What's the DSAB of the message? (EM SH to see it). That's what the mail code will have to use to convert it. grahame |
