        Hello,
        
        I can't find this mentioned anywhere else, and would like to 
        verify someone does know there may be a problem....?
        
        I do a WP DT RV or RVC, select a .PS file, fill in Drawer/ 
        Folder/ Document information, "Creating new document . . ." 
        appears - delay follows.
        
        I get my cursor back, but "Creating new document . . ." stays 
        on line 24 and my document is not created.
        
        Any suggestions ?
        
        I got round it by Gold Getting my document into WPS and then 
        converting it to PS.

Ian, this is a known problem in doccreate.scp.

A workaround is to simply create a document in your file cabinet, before 
trying to do the document transfer. This sets the symbol #WP_SYS_COMPLETION.

There is a fix coming in a later baselevel.

    I believe this problem is discussed in note 35 and in particular
    note 35.11 descibes an easy fix.
    
    The workround has now been retrofitted back into the (final?) SSP kit.
