I have recently experienced the following behavior with two different customers: Their system crashes - such as electric failure or whatever After the nexxt reboot, ALL-IN-1 does NOT get installed properly. The logicals seemed to be defined, but the images are not getting installed. Executing A1V24START manually solves the problem. Anyone have any idea/explanation ... Thanks, Cb.

This isn't going to help, but they could change their startup to get a logfile of the A1V24START trun to try and find out next time. Perhaps the startup job doesn't have PRMGBL, SYSGBL, CMKRNL etc., needed to do the $INSTALLs? Graham | |||||

After crash the mount/rebuild happening with disks may keep some disk unreachable during ALL-IN-1 startup with strange effects (if ALL-IN-1 is distributed to several disks). This is just a guess but I have seen a similar situation. Regards, Hannu |
