257.0. "SFCP migration info" by UTROP2::LANGENBERG_C () Tue Mar 17 1992 10:40

    Hello,

    a short question about the SFCP migration:

    when I migrate a V2.4 SFCP --> V3.0, the following things happen
    automatically by running a script:
    - the account will still be there, but with more files to support
      the drawer etc.
    - all files are moved to drawer MAIN, which will be Regular shared
    - the owner of the account will have all the ACL's that are needed.

    The users that used to use the SFCP account, will they have all
    the ACLs too?
    Or do they have to choose the drawer using FC DRM IAD and ADR to
    add an entry for the drawer to their personal drawer file?

    If this is documented, please refer me to the right documentation.

    Thanks,

    Clarie

    Yes

    This is optional. They can access the drawer by entering the new drawer
    name [account]MAIN, or they can use ADR to add the drawer to their File
    Cabinet (what you call their personal drawer file) and from then use
    the "nickname" they gave for the drawer.

    Cheers
