193.0. "%SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO ; help needed" by BACHUS::LAROCHE (Veerle Laroche) Mon Mar 09 1992 08:37
Hello,
A customer sometimes gets access violations in ALL-IN-1 2.4.
This is the error he gets before it access violates (using oa$msg_trap).
%OA-I-VMFREEFATAL, LIB$FREE_VM failure, 15 bytes at 077D57F0 - IN
OADSA IN ROUTINE OA$DSA_SET_CBACTION
-LIB-F-BADBLOADR, bad block address=0000001
And a second one :
%OA-I-VMFREEFATAL, LIB$FREE_VM failure, 4944 bytes at 00772a10 -
OA$TRM_BUFD_CLOSE
-LIB-F-BADBLOADR, bad block address
%OA-I-VMFREEFATAL, LIB$FREE_VM failure, 2 bytes at 00776378 - IN OADSA
IN ROUTINE OA$DSA_SET_CBACTION
-LIB-F-BADBLOADR, bad block address
%SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation, reason mask=00, virtual
address=00000016, PC=00200325, PSL=0300004
He can sometimes simulate by doing the following.
When he reads a mail containing a meeting requests, he does <EXIT SCREEN>
at the point "Do you wish to attend ? ". When returning to form MAIN,
ALL-IN-1 access violates.
He was able to take a trace of this. The access violation occurs at
the following stage :
DSAB Name: CAL$CALENDAR Requests : OPEN
Previous attempts to do this succeeded.
However, the two requests before this one gave
"ERROR OPENING FILE CAL$CALENDAR".
Any ideas,
Veerle Laroche.
