Houston, we have a problem... When adding an entry in the ALL-IN-1 profile the DDS subscriber is not set up correctly. The user is added without a complete O/R address and the DDSID field in the user's profile is not set (either X.400 or ALL-IN-1). If you run the OA$LIB:SUBSCRIBER_ADD script manually then it does create a new good X.400 profile but still does not add the DDSID field to either ALL-IN-1 or DDS profiles). I recall having this or a similar problem at V2.4 but since I can't get at the conference at the moment, I've resorted to entering it here. Regards and thanks in anticipation, ajb

I don't know a lot about DDS, but I believe it can be set up to deferred (i.e. periodically in a batch job) updates. In that setup DDS does not return an ID to ALL-IN-1 and the DDSID in the profile never gets updated. The only solution is not to use deferred updates in DDS. Terry |
