Hi. I have a problem/or rather a request for information on an old 'undocumented feature' in WPS-PLUS. It used to be possible to give a command in the control-blocks, an thereby having WPS look into the .PRA-file for a command with same name, and thereby getting the sequence printed. It was even possible to have this sequence replaced by a external file, o that the .PRA-fileentry really pointed to a larger file outside the .PRA-file, this allowed for expanding the area for esc-sequences. Does anybody recall this feature.?? Rgds Preben Jacobsen. Denmark

Yes and no: .0It used to be possible to give a command in the control-blocks, an .0thereby having WPS look into the .PRA-file for a command with same .0name, and thereby getting the sequence printed. I thought that one was documented.... .0 It was even possible to .0 have this sequence replaced by a external file, so that the .0 .PRA-file entry really pointed to a larger file outside the .PRA-file, I didn't think that this WAS possible.... but it is now with WPS-PLUS V4. Try the WPS-PLUS conference for how to do it..., but there is a documented way to point a control block at a PRA entry that then points at a file which is included at print time. |
