I'm the ALL-IN-1 manager of DEC Hungary. We have: - ALL-IN-1 2.4, - SFCP 1.2, - WPS 4.0. The K603 patch and WPS 4.0 installation was successful. But: there are 2 customized form, GOLDGMENU and WPCONT1, which were customized before by the SFCP 1.2 installation. Now, as these are live elements, the new forms, which contains WPS 4.0 features (e.g. PT option), are unavailable. If I delete them from the live area, then users will look at them, but the SFCP wouldn't work (?). As they are in the CM index, the manager and application programmers will never see the PT option. If I delete them from the CM index, then I will loose the SFCP modifications...(Catch 22). Would the SFCP-A012 patch install solve this problem ? I dare not install it yet. I looked inside the kit, and GOLDGMENU is updated, but the WPCONT1 not. I have heard, that this constellation has successfully been installed somewhere. What should I do ? Kati

Hi Kati, > Would the SFCP-A012 patch install solve this problem ? > I dare not install it yet. I looked inside the kit, and GOLDGMENU > is updated, but the WPCONT1 not. The SFCP-A012 patch will solve most of your problems. As you correctly noticed, the PT option was overlooked in my comparison of the WPCONT1 form modifications. After you install the SFCP-A012 patch, a _new_ post-installation task is to customize the SFCP "WPCONT1" form and add the following lines to the named data: ;;OA$_WPL_MO_PRINTER_TABLES;; WPSPLUS_PTU\IFSTATUS\FORM PTU_MAIN You'll probably also want to add "PT Printer tables" to the list of options displayed on the form's screen image, and then all of the new WPS-PLUS V4.0 features will be available with SFCP. I trust Dan'l's technical acumen *implicitly*, but nonetheless I'll test this and, if everything's okey-dokey (as I'm sure it will be), I'll include it in the kit. Those who have already received it through the proper channels will be notified. -- Paul |
