71.0. "WPS Templates??" by UPROAR::ADAMSONP (Paul Adamson) Fri Feb 21 1992 09:22

Can anyone advise me if there is any facility to create and use
        pre-set templates in WPS.?

I have a need to have blank templates that can be called in and
filled in by myself to produce regular reports on WPS (All-in-1)..

I also need the ability for these templates to contain 'lines'
        defining boxes.

If there is a method of producing a template would it be edited in
'overwrite' mode or act as a FORM allowing only blank fields to be
        entered?

Any guidance on this would be a great help!

    First some terminology questions:

When you say WPS, do you mean WPS-PLUS?

When you say "all-in-1" do you mean ALL-IN-1?

NB Both of these are trademarks owned by the corporation (See Note 13)

Assuming I have guessed your question correctly, you can create a
document in WPS-PLUS, and then refer to it from the creation menu when
you create another document (Just do NEXT SCREEN after the first create
menu appears) In WPS-PLUS V4.n which is included in ALL-IN-1 V3.0 and
available as an option for V2.4, you can put the editor in overwrite
mode, so that you can fill in form fields, this may help.

If this isn't enough, you might try asking in the WPS-PLUS conference,
see note 4.* here for a pointer.
