63.0. "Remote cal access." by KERNEL::LOAT (Bored...bored........BORED!!!!) Thu Feb 20 1992 13:11

    In the dreaded TM, is it possible to set owner to a remote calendar,
    or use the Two Calendar function on a remote calendar?

63.1I don't think this works, but it was years agoA1VAX::BARTHBridge-o-matic does it again!Thu Feb 20 1992 14:038
It seems to me I tried this a long time ago. I don't remember it being
particularly successful. If it's going to work, you'll have to have an
entry in the PROFILE which lists the remote user's name and points to the
default directory on the remote system, including the nodename.

Good luck.

        It's not going to work. ALL-IN-1 cannot use its privileges to
        access remote files. I suppose if the file was world read/
        writable or if a proxy was set up to do this, it might work
        in the way that Karl suggested. All I can do is echo Karl's
        Good luck.

    Actually even if you got access to their calendar it wouldn't work.

    Calendar information is split into three parts. User information,
    meeting information, and attendees information. When you do a set-owner
    it just changes where it is pointing for the user information piece.
    So the meeting info and attendee info would not be found.
