51.0. "ALL-IN-1 IOS TO ALL-IN-1 DESKTOP..." by KAOFS::R_OBAS () Wed Feb 19 1992 18:16
Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this one but I'll ask it anyway.
I have a customer with ALL-IN-1 V2.4 and ALL-IN-1 DESKTOP.
It's multi-lingual system. When users send electronic mail (French)
the recipients receives the mail intact, that is, the french characters
are there like e' or o'. But if you send the message to ALL-IN-1
desktop users, the french characters comes out different, the e' for
example comes out like ( a happy face, at least it's happy face) or
a # sign or just a block. Same is true if you send a French message
to ALL-IN-1 IOS. If mail is sent to ALL-IN-1 IOS TO ALL-IN-1 IOS or
ALL-IN-1 desktop to ALL-IN-1 desktop, There's no problem.
Thank you very much for any help.
