27.0. "Problem while printing extended characters" by MXOV09::LGODINEZ () Tue Feb 18 1992 01:55
Greetings from Mxico,
I'm connecting two printers to All-in-1:
 - Seikosha BP-5460FA
 - Xerox 4030 II
I have them emulaing an IBM ProPrinter II but
both of the printers can't print accents and
characters in bold.
Both of the printer can print extended ascii
characters, if I print from VMS the MS-DOS
extended characters (130 -> , 160 ->  ...) I
get the right characters, but from All-in-1 it
prints just the letters (a,e ..).
I configure the printing like DOCUMENT and the
device like LA75 (LA50 ...) with no result.
Because of the lenguage I realy need that those
characters can be printed.
Can some one tell me if I'm doing something wrong,
or what do I need to print those characters in these
printers (in their native way or by emulating other
printers, they can't emulate a Digital Printer).
Thank you in advance,
Luis Antonio Godnez Hernndez
