| David,
Your starter for 10 is to answer the following two questions:
1) what is the result of:
$MC MBMAN
MBMAN> SHOW DDS STATUS
2) Is object 55 in NCP?
Actually it's more clever than that but i'm sure that you can explode
KICHKMR.COM as well as anyone else.

%MB-S-DDSSUCCESS, DDS is initialized

Object No File/PID User ID
DDSLSTN 55 DDS$LSTN.EXE DDSNET
Looks okay to me . . .

26.3 | And the code is located at ... | AIMTEC::WICKS_A | Vote Bill'n'Opus for a weirder USA | Wed Feb 19 1992 16:22 | 13 |
| David,
I don't really want to post code from an unreleased product in this
notesfile but if you'd like to try:
$BACKUP/SELECT=kichkmr.com <DIRECTORY>A1030.A/save
and then look for the label "OOPS_NO_DDS" you'll see exactly what
whizzo techie DCL is at play here.

Ah, yes -- a case of mismatched AUTHORIZE/NCP passwords for the DDSLSTN
object (the 795 login failures for the DDSNET account was a subtle
hint).
Thanks,
