Software Performance Reports are required for engineering to correct
any short comings in the products. Reporting suspected bugs in this
conference is good to alert others and to get help in obtaining work
arounds and the like. However, the conference is not an official
support channel of the product.
You or your customer MUST submit an SPR to get the problem officially
noted by engineering.
As the note below from the previous conference points out, the process
is simple and, apparently, timeless.

Nancy,
There's no special procedure for ALL-IN-1. You just take one of those
SPR forms that come with any software, fill it out, and send it in to
the appropriate address on the back. The forms haven't changed in a
*very* long time, so don't worry that the information on the back lists
RSX-11M V3 and TOPS-10 V6.03 (1978?) as possible operating systems,
or RK05 and DECtape as possible distribution media.
Alternatively, as I just pointed out the other day, is to write
to ICARUS::SPRADMIN for an online form and return it, filled out,
to the same address. I also have the forms and scripts to create
one as a document format in ALL-IN-1, if I ever bring it in and
load it. Even if you get the online form, you should get a paper
form for the directions, such as what constitutes a level 1, level
2, etc.
I have done this and gotten answers, although I am still waiting for an
answer to a VAX Notes SPR from last summer. As soon as I mentioned
my outstanding ALL-IN-1 SPR the other day, I got an answer.

Not to mention SPR's can be filed by the customer using DSIN, and even
by calling the Atlanta support center with a problem we can replicate.
Depending on the week you call, we may call them something different,
though...

| Since I found this note helpful when submitting an SPR, I will update
it with the latest information. I realize that one can call the CSC,
but we have been told that it now costs $100 per call.
Here is a paraphrase of what I received in the mail:
The process for submitting internal and Domestic customer SPR's has
changed. In the future please forward/send your internal and Domestic
customer SPR's to the Alpharetta, GA office.
The new node is:
VIA : ALL-IN-1 = CSC/AT FS REGISTRATION @ ALF
VAXMail = CSCOAC::REGISTER_FS
