9.0. "ALL-IN-1 Information Updates" by GATORS::VICKERS (How does this help the customers?) Fri Aug 17 1990 03:19

    The ALL-IN-1 Information Updates are sent to customers who have
    purchased service contracts.  These contain a large amount of very
    useful information about the product.

    They are available online from

    	IOSG""::LIB0:[LIBRARY.A1UPDATE]

    with the file specifications being MMMYY.PS and MMMYY.TXT where MMM is
    the month and YY is the year of publication.

    Current contents of the directory are:

	AUG91.PS
	AUG91.TXT
	NOV91.PS
	NOV91.TXT
	FEB92.PS
	FEB92.TXT

    Announcements about available new issues will be made here.

    Please note that we do not know how they get distributed, and can't help
    resolve problems with distribution.

    The *theory* is that Updates should be automatically sent to all
    customers with service contracts, and that sales contacts have full
    knowledge of who to contact in the unlikely event that anything goes
    wrong.

    The person who sends Updates to production, and who has a list of
    people to contact about distribution, is Susan Thompson.  Her mail
    address is LEZAH::THOMPSON.

    PS Older editions of the Information Update may still be online in

    The May 1992 issue of the Information Update is available in
    the library:

    It is a special issue containing articles from the last five editions
    of the Information Update that apply to ALL-IN-1 Version 3.0. Where
    necessary, the articles have been updated.

    The August 1992 issue of the Information Update is available in

    The text version is also available in the same directory.
    
    In response to -1.:
    
    LIB0 has severe space problems and therefore ALL directories and files
    in the Library account had been compressed (and acquired _LZ extensions).
    I have now decompressed the FEB92 and MAY92 versions and made sure that 
    AUG92 is not compressed. If you require any of the other issues to be
    decompressed, please contact me on IOSG::EVANSG.
