| Also 10 of the 13 Stefan mentioned (no Czech, Slovak or Brazilian)
may be found on the CD-ROM distribution
The CD also contains Hebrew and japanese versions of ALL-IN-1 and
german and French version of STARTER.
Installing from CD is much quicker than a network copy from Frankfurt!

| NEW ALL-IN-1 IOS V3.0A (MUPA) KIT NOW AVAILABLE
The ALL-IN-1 IOS V3.0A (MUPA) kit has now been updated to include a
fix for the File Cabinet Server problem described in WINDOWS_OFFICE
note 96.195. The kit location is unchanged, and is available in the
following location:

The savesets which have been updated are:
A1_MUPA030.A;5 Containing updated SM.A1$MSG within
A1_MUPA030_LLV.BCK
A1_MUPA030.C;2 Containing a new version of
OAFC_CSI_CARD_INDEXING.OBJ
A1_MUPABR030.A;6 Containing updated BRIT_SM.A1$MSG for
British systems.
MUPA_BL61A.SAV New saveset containing files required to patch
MUPA BL61A onto systems where MUPA BL61 is
installed.
If you wish to check what version of MUPA is installed on your
system, type the following at the ALL-IN-1 main menu:

Contents of MUPA_BL61A.SAV:
OAFC_CSI_CARD_INDEXING.OBJ Containing a fix to a problem found
in the file cabinet server delete
folders function.
SM.A1$MSG Updated MUPA BL61A message file.
BRIT_SM.A1$MSG Updated MUPA BL61A message file
for British systems.
TLC_SM.A1$MSG TLC messages to be reapplied on
systems where TLC V2.0 is installed
(No change to SSB version).
PATCH_INSTRUCTIONS.TXT This document.
The files in this saveset have been provided to fix a File Cabinet
Server delete folder problem found in the MUPA BL61. It should be
applied to all systems where MUPA BL61 has already been installed
as follows:
1) Copy the saveset to a directory on the system on which MUPA BL61 is
installed.
2) Extract the files appropriate to your system using the following
command:
$ BACKUP/SELECT=(file_name) MUPA_BL61A/SAV *
3) Changes to update the MUPA message file:
a) $ COPY SM.A1$MSG OA$BUILD_LLV:SM.A1$MSG
or for BRITISH system
$ COPY BRIT_SM.A1$MSG OA$BUILD_LLV:SM.A1$MSG
If TLC V2.0 is installed, then you will also have to reapply the
TLC specific message changes:
b) Edit OA$BUILD_LLV:SM.A1$MSG
c) Insert the contents of TLC_SM.A1$MSG immediately before the
.END statement at the end of the file.
d) For both MUPA and MUPA/TLC systems recompile the SM
message file as follows:
$ SET COMMAND OA$BUILD:OA$MESCOMPCLI
$ OA$MESCOMP OA$BUILD_LLV:SM.A1$MSG OA$LIB_LLV:SM_SYM.A1$SECTION
4) Changes to apply the File Cabinet Server patch:
a) Copy OAFC_CSI_CARD_INDEXING.OBJ to OA$BUILD_SHARE.
b) Keep a safe version of the File Cabinet Server Object Library:
$ COPY OA$BUILD_SHARE:OAFC$SERVER.OLB
OA$BUILD_SHARE:SAFE_OAFC$SERVER.OLB
c) Replace the new server object into the server library:
$ SET DEF OA$BUILD_SHARE
$ LIB/REPLACE OAFC$SERVER.OLB OAFC_CSI_CARD_INDEXING.OBJ
d) Relink the File Cabinet Server:
$ @OAFC$SERVER_LINK
This produces two new images in OA$BUILD_SHARE:
OAFC$SERVER.EXE
OAFC$MTS_PRIV_SHR.EXE
e) Copy the new relinked images to their correct locations:
$ COPY OAFC$SERVER.EXE SYS$COMMON:[SYSEXE] /LOG
$ COPY OAFC$MTS_PRIV_SHR.EXE SYS$COMMON:[SYSLIB] /LOG
f) Stop all currently running File Cabinet Servers via the
Server Management subsystem (SM MFC MS STO)
g) Restart ALL-IN-1 IOS by running SYS$STARTUP:A1V30START.COM
on every node.
This will $INSTALL all the new linked images, and restart the
File Cabinet Servers.
