3718.0. "Problem with TASK TO TASK operation" by CSC32::E_KWAN (Ed Kwan DTN 592-4391) Tue Nov 27 1990 09:49
Greetings:
I have a customer that has a 6320 as boot node to a bunch of
3100's. Let say it booted the first 3100, on this 3100
he started a local application, then from the appication pulldown
menu he select an item that does a command file which starts
a task to task job creating a decterm to the 6320.
$type nodename"username pass"::"task=x" which X.COM
is $ set display/create/node=
$ create/term/detach
When he boot another 3100, any decterms created by the method
above will disappear.
But if he started a decterm locally, then do a SET HOST back to
the 6320, those connections will stay up.
Seems like is a timing problem, but where should I be looking.
Thanks
Ed.
