From a DECWINDOW application I need to use a simple TEXT editor. At the moment I LIB$SPAWN the NOTEPAD editor and it serves my purpose but ... I would like to customize the NOTEPAD user Interface in order to : - Have the Interface in Italian. - Have EXIT, QUIT and SEARCH as the only menu options. Hence my questions: - Can I call the NOTEPAD directly from my program? Does it have a programmable Interface? Is there such as thing as a widget NOTEPAD ? - Are the source listings of the NOTEPAD on SQM::VMS053$LISTINGS ? Where exactly ? Would it be of any use for what I am trying to achieve ? I would also need a simple Image Editor and would have similar questions regarding DECPAINT. Thanks for your help. Guy-Marie Mass.

DECpaint is callable via AIL V1.0. Both DECpresent and DECwrite do this. show key ail/full in the queen::decwrite conference for details. Pete | |||||
