Hello, I'm looking for a tool or application to create a window-based graphical depiction of a network. I want a layout of interconnected objects in a well-arranged manner, showing different kinds of devices. The user should be able to click on an object in this structure to get yet another window/box with additional info on this particular object. If possible, also a second level of info is desired. Does anyone know of an application that does most of this ? Some kind of Hyperinformation system, that does not require too much of raw hacking ? Greatful for any help, Regards Marie

Marie, Take a look at the NetEd widget. It is a run time library (actually a widget) that supports network (directed graph) creation and editing. There's a fairly sophisticated test application that you may be able to use as the starting point of your own application. See the NetEd notesfile for more info (KP7).
