Using DECwindows V3, I find it impossible to take advantage of FileView's
selection capabilities.
In DECwindows V2 it was possible to select a file, move to an EVE window, and
select the Open Selected... option to pull that file in.
In V3, as soon as I select the File menu in EVE, input focus is assigned to
that window. This negates the selection in the FileView window and I must
now type in the full filespec in EVE. This negates a large productivity
gain in previous versions.

BTW - I was surprised at how FEW QARs there were out there!

| Well, the 535 are since April or so. I just familiarized myself with
the new QAR system a little more.
I thought that just doing a DIR would show me all of 'em . It shows me
the last screenful!
