3578.0. "DECwindows V3 and dual-screen systems" by PRAVDA::JACKSON (You run your mouth, I'll run my business brother) Fri Nov 02 1990 11:34

Couple of questions for DECwindows V3 users/gurus

1:	Can I get the automati session startup stuff to specify which
screen I would like the application to start on? i'd like to
have some of my auto-start apps go on screen 0, and some on screen
1 (this was not possible in the old DECwindows)

2:	I can't seem to find the "prompt for screen number" dialog
so that when I start an application, it asks me which screen
to put the display on. (this was possible on the old DECwindows
and is the only thing that is keeping me from installing DECW V3
	on my "production" environment)

qar it I am not sure how hard this is to do.

This unfortunately didn't get fixed for ift. There is a Screen... dialog box
and it can be added to the options menu thru the menus dialog box and it will
allow you to start all the apps except decterm(another bug) on the 2nd head
but the prompt function isn't working yet.

(By the way, I've installed it on PRAVDA anyway. I found that I liked
too many of the things to pass it up!)
