3561.0. ".bdf/.pcf/.scf font VT1200 XTERMINAL" by BREAKR::HA () Thu Nov 01 1990 04:02
I have a couple of questions on font loading by our X-terminals:
1) I know the ASCII, human-readable format is .bdf and the
current font format that the VT1200 and VT1300 want to
see in order to download them is .pcf format.
What is .pcf format - is this a DEC standard or does
it come from X11 R3?
2) We have a requirement to be able to load fonts from a
Pyramid system running X11 R4, which are claimed to be
.scf format. They customer says he thinks .pcf format
is a Postscript extended version of .scf. Can the
VT1200/1300 load .scf font files?
