I've blurred my vision hunting for the elusive exe file FREEMEM.EXE.
I copied it once from some notes file, which one escapes me, and it was
great because it freed up any un-used memory that was dedicated to
finished jobs on my VS3100 workstation.

After a disk problem I realized my backup didn't have it, I want it!

Can anyone tell me of FREEMEM.EXE OR does anyone have a nice easy
program to free up those memory blocks. It's not fun having to re-log
into my workstation account to get back to 0.

    Help,

Phil, geez my eyes are sore, Piccicuto

| You can copy it from PSW::SYS$SYSTEM:FREEMEM.EXE, if you wish. The sources are in PSW::PSW$DUA2:[WINALSKI]FREEMEM.MAR. The program was written by C.W. Hobbs. --PSW | |||||

I've noted that running this with VMS 5.4 can cause systems to get
worse, not better. Not scientific, just an observation.
