| We're working on this for DECwindows V3. It involves creating a new set of
terminal fonts that are 18 points high on a 100 dpi system. These fonts
don't exist in DECwindows V2.
I'm not sure what the chances are of providing these fonts to the customer
before DECwindows V3 comes out. You might try talking to the VMS DECwindows
product manager, Janis Horn (DECWIN::HORN).

| Try checking the file SYS$MANAGER:PRIVATE_SERVER_SETUP.TEMPLATE
to set up the monitor density.... I seem to recall something about
this, but I'm at home and don't remember exactly what it was...

Making sure that private_server_setup is correct can help for menus and
labels and text widgets. It won't help as much for DECterms. They use
a mechanism that is not density specific. It selects among a fairly
limited set of fonts that have the right characteristics for use in a
terminal emulator.

Thanks for all of you quick responses. I'll tell my customer that the next
release will help him out and I'll try to get the new fonts from the product
manager.
Again, Thanks!
